Rules and
Information:
1. Canadian Curling
Association rules shall apply.
2. Preferably, all
curling games shall be eight (8) ends; however, 6 end games may be utilized, if necessary, for scheduling purposes.
3. All teams will be
guaranteed a minimum of four (4) games.
4. The exact draw
will be determined by the number of teams entered in each event. Eight (8) teams in each event would be
preferable and result in an even draw.
5. Each event
will consist of a single round robin if time permits. Further, if time still allows, the top four teams in each event will enter
into a playoff using the Page system..(i.e.
the quarter finals will have the team ending up in 1st place after the round robin
playing the team that ended up in 2nd [Series A] , and the second game will have the team ending up in 3rd playing the team that finished 4th
[Series B]. The semi-final game
[Series C] will have the winner of Series B, playing the
loser of Series A. The loser of this game will receive the Bronze medal. The winner will move onto
the finals [Series D] to play the winner of Series A. The
winner of this game receives the Gold medal, the loser the Silver medal.
